What We WILL Do:

• We will help you with guidance and support during the time it takes for you to find a home for your dog.
• We will provide an online courtesy listing (with your photos) where individuals can learn about your dog, at no charge to you.
• We will direct you to certain animal assistance organizations which may help you with your dog’s health, dog food, and/or meeting our adoption/placement assistance requirements.
• We will help you identify what would be a good home for your dog, and aid you in avoiding a bad environment.
• We will  provide you with education regarding the scope of unwanted animals, the benefits of neutering/spaying, and your dog’s life expectancy if placed in a Shelter.

What You WILL Do:

• You will keep your dog’s vaccines and heartworm prevention current during the time SADR is assisting you with placement.
• You will be open and candid regarding the temperament of your dog with other animals, children, men and women.
• You will assure that your dog is neutered/spayed before adoption commences, and/or will assist the new owner with keeping surgery appointments if a condition prevents surgery before adoption.
• You will assure that your dog is secure, in a home, fenced yard and/or on a leash, with identification tags, at all times.
• You will Require an adoption fee (an amount determined by each listing) which will help you defray the cost(s) of bringing your dog health requirements current.  
• You will assure that the home you eventually choose provides a safe environment in which to place your dog.
• You will notify SADR immediately upon finding a forever home for your dog, and provide placement/adoption documents.

What We WILL NOT and CAN NOT Do:

• We can not take your dog into the Save A Dog Rescue facilities.
• We will not advise you to bring your dog to a Shelter.
• We can not pay for your dog’s health requirements (even it would ensure adoption).

What You WILL NOT Do:

• You will not bring your dog to a Shelter during this time.
• You will not abandon your dog.
• You will not allow your dog to be placed with a home that does not clearly display animal responsibility.  
• You will not allow your dog to be bred while waiting for it’s forever home and before neutering/spaying takes place.
