Save A Dog Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to helping dogs find their forever homes, and can assist you with finding a forever home for your dog by creating a Courtesy Listing; however...
You and your dog must meet and maintain certain criteria in order for SADR to assist you.
Save A Dog Rescue can help you find a new home for your dog, which (for various reasons) you feel you can no longer provide proper care, by providing a courtesy online listing on www.saveadogrescue.com.
A Courtesy Listing is an web page with your dog’s information (including photos you provide) so others looking for a dog might see it and respond. We do not take the dog from you to find a home for it; your dog will continue to live with you (or a foster home which you find) until you find a suitable and safe forever home is found.
We Do Not Charge for the courtesy listing and other help, however we do have requirements that you must meet if you plan to list your dog with SADR to find it a home.
These Requirements are the same for everyone, regardless how you came to need placement for the dog. For example: it could be a dog that found you or a dog that you found, a rescued dog, an aging family dog, a rambunctious pup that is too much for you, or the dog of an elderly family member who can no longer provide proper care for it.
At “Save a Dog Rescue” we DO NOT “rescue and save” your dog from your home. We do not pick up strays. We do not pay for dog food, health maintenance, medical attention or medications, but we can
