“GOOD DOG” TIP:

Dogs will do what comes natural to them unless you teach them how to act the way you wish.  There are many methods you can use to train your current or new dog. Select a training method with which you are comfortable and has proven results.  If you are patient and consistent with a proven method you will see results.
A well trained dog is a happy and confident dog.  A happy dog results in a happy human friend.  And yes, an old dog can learn new tricks.  FREE dog training video and Free training tips and techniques!
Fostering considerations:

n
No time commitment

n
Allows you to investigate different breed’s, their temperaments and activity levels.

n
Provides a dog with a sense of security during an unstable time of life.

n
Provides you and the dog each with a companion / friend.

n
Provides you with a sense of accomplishment and purpose.

n
And so much more....
Consider Fostering:
FOSTER a dog
Unable to commit to an adoption?  There are more ways to help.
Fostering:
You can foster any one or more of our dogs for any length of time.  Bring the dog home and see how it fits into your household.
Fostering is a wonderful way to “try out” a dog.
Sponsorship:
Unable to foster in home? Consider a “virtual” foster or “sponsorship”.
While nearly every homeless dog has become a “special needs” animal, some are more so due to health, abuse or accidental injuries.
Virtual fostering involves supplying donations and/or fundraising techniques to help defray SADR’s cost(s) of a particular “special needs” dog.
Watch our site for updates and photos of our “special needs” dog(s).
